Editorial Policy
We write from opened sources, say where evidence is thin, check regulator databases on the day we write, and date every review.
Last reviewed:
How we research
- We start from a question a reader would ask.
- We open the sources: systematic reviews and trials in PubMed, regulator databases, and patient pages from large medical centers.
- We write only what a source says, and we link it. Where studies disagree or are small, we say so.
- For any statement about the FDA, we check the database on the day we write it and keep a dated capture.
What we never write
- Promises about what a treatment will do for you.
- Invented reviews, testimonials, doctors or clinics.
- Before and after photos we cannot document with written consent.
- That the FDA has authorized a kit, a serum or a clinic.
Review and updates
Every page shows the date it was last reviewed. We review a page when a new source appears, when a maker changes its page, or at least when we run our periodic checks. A change is dated.
Medical review
No physician reviews these pages today. We say so on each page. If we add a reviewer, we will publish their name, specialty, license number and date, and nothing else will be claimed.
Conflicts of interest
A partner clinic may compensate us once one is listed. None is listed today. We do not sell products or treatments. If we ever link to a seller with a paid relationship, we will say so on the page and in the affiliate disclosure before the link. Corrections are welcome through the contact page.
